Happy Easter!

Grandma and Grandpa Wolff came to visit over Easter weekend. Lila was a little young to take part in all the Easter festivities but she enjoyed having her grandparents there to fuss over her. And I'm beginning to notice that it seems like she'll sleep for anyone but me :)

We quickly learned that Lila loves to sleep with her arms stretched above her head...
and that she can just about fit her whole fist in her mouth when she's hungry.

It's a Girl!

We went into the hospital at about 10 Wednesday morning and Lila was born at 5:09 that night. She was 6 lb. 9 oz. and 19 in. long.


One of the volunteers at the hospital made the little pixie hat for her.

Eric's Baby Shower

Eric is probably one of very few dads-to-be who have had to endure a baby shower, but the people he works with weren't about to leave him out of the fun. They surprised him with a fishing themed cake entitled "The last fishing trip" and lots of great gifts for Lila.

Billings Baby Shower

February 28th Billie threw us an awesome rubber ducky themed baby shower in Billings. She did a great job of narrowing it down to only two games and the clip and paste baby was definitely a hit. The teams had to cut out pictures from magazines and paste together what they thought Lila would look like. There ended up being very "interesting" entries.

Nursery Update

At about 9 months, I think we finally have the nursery ready for Lila. Jake's been sniffing around a little and begging for all her squeaky toys, but I still don't think he knows what he's in for yet.

Thanks to all my friends and family, Lila's library is overflowing with great books on everything from numbers to dragons. Hopefully she'll enjoy them as much as I do.

Spearfish Baby Shower

Last weekend we drove over to Spearfish for the baby shower my sister and mom had for me and Lila. The party turned out really nice with all of the beautiful decorations, great food, and wonderful family and friends. It was great being able to visit with everyone, and Lila received a wardrobe fit for a princess, a library to match, and many other great gifts. I was even spoiled with lots of mommy pampering goodies that I can't wait to dig into.

All the guests signed a photo mat with messages to Lila. For the party, Krista put photos of Eric and me as kids in the mat and we decided that the chances were good that we already knew what Lila would look like since Eric and I looked like we could be siblings.
